The Isle of Raasay spirits, including both peated and unpeated whisky, are matured separately in different cask types. These include first-fill rye whiskey casks, fresh Chinkapin oak casks and first-fill Bordeaux red wine casks.
These six casks contribute to the versatility and complexity of the whisky, which is known for its pure elegance and deep character.

Every drop of this whisky is produced on the Isle of Raasay by distilling, maturing and bottling it with water from its own well, the "Tobar na Ba Byine" (the well of the pale cow).
