White rum, natural coconut extracts and sugar are the ingredients of Malibu Original Liqueur Coconut (rum base), cream is not included. With 18% alcohol by volume, it has a remarkably low alcohol content. Malibu Original Liqueur Coconut (rum base) was first produced on the island of Barbados in 1895 - today, however, it is also produced in Spain, although the rum still comes from Barbados. It is ultimately a liqueur that is not given a long storage period - the mixture with the other additives alone significantly reduces the alcohol content.

It is advisable to consider the Malibu Original Liqueur Coconut (rum base) as a mixer lemonade, cherry, passion fruit, orange or pineapple juice is usually a popular addition.
